Early Views of Vegetable Production from Meigs County, Ohio

May 9, 2001. The mild spring has allowed many growers to put in early plantings of various vegetable crops. The early crops look very good despite some frost on sweet corn. Take this mini-tour to see what's going on in southeast OH.

Meigs county is know as the boot of OH in the beautiful OH river valley. Many farms lie close to the river and occasionally a passing river boat can be seen from the fields.

Our tour guide will be county agent Hal Kneen, (left), from Pomeroy.
