Sweet Corn Disease Resistance and Herbicide Sensitivity Ratings (Recently
Updated as of Jan 29, 2010). Jerald Pataky
An
up-dated summary of University of Illinois sweet corn disease nurseries from
1984 to 2009 has been completed recently. The document contains an
article titled “Reactions of sweet corn hybrids to prevalent diseases and
herbicides, (Calisto and Laudis),
and gives an explanation of the nursery summary and a printable table of hybrid
reactions. Another Excel file contains an easily sorted and searchable table of
hybrid reactions. I hope you find this information useful.
Both files also are available by clicking on the link to “Summary of Hybrid
Reactions: 1984 to 2009” at the UI sweet corn nursery web site.

The
pdf document, “Reactions of sweet corn hybrids to
prevalent diseases and herbicides”, which gives an explanation of the nursery
summary and a printable table of hybrid reactions plus an Excel file with the
sorted and searchable table of hybrid reactions can be emailed to you or you can receive a hard copy. E-mail: Bob Precheur if you do not have internet access.
